Position Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accounting Associate at BK Management in Lafayette, Indiana. This role supports the accounting department by assisting with accounts payable and receivable, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and helping maintain accurate financial records across our property portfolio.

Job Duties
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice entry, payment processing, and tracking.
- Post payments, fees, and other transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support monthly bank and account reconciliations for operating and trust accounts.
- Assist with the utility billing process.
- Assist with tenant and owner ledger review, including resolving discrepancies and correcting posting errors.
- Support the preparation of monthly owner statements and financial reporting as needed.
- Communicate with vendors, tenants, and internal team members regarding billing questions and payment status.
- Maintain organized accounting files and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Assist with year-end reporting tasks and 1099 preparation support.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support company growth and performance.
- Other accounting duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or an administrative finance role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and financial records.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Experience in property management, real estate, or working with trust accounts is a plus.

Job Duties

Job Duties
